The team at CERTH – Vasileios Mezaris, Nikolaos Gkalelis, and Mariano Ntrougkas – were interviewed for the February issue of the Computer Vision News magazine about their work. The topic of the conversation was their research and the recently published paper titled “TAME: Attention Mechanism Based Feature Fusion for Generating Explanation Maps of Convolutional Neural Networks“, supported by CRiTERIA. The publication was presented at and subsequently recognised with the Best Paper Award at the 24th IEEE International Symposium on Multimedia in Naples, Italy.
